To help with our inspiration this week, Team B was generously provided with Nicecrane's collection of

I picked this cutie patootie because she immediately made me think of Easter. Don't you just love her adorable bonnet?
It also made me think it would be a great “Thinking of You” card because she looks like she may be thinking or day dreaming about someone.
Such a versatile image wouldn't you say?

I printed her onto Cryogen card stock which I am not a big fan of btw ( I ran out of my favourite Neenah).
I then coloured her with my Copic Markers.

Copic Colours Used:

BV000, 00 02     Apron
YG 61, 63, 67 C3   Bonnet
YR 23, E30, 34, 25     Hair & Window
E000, 00, 11 R20    Skin
V0000, 01, 05    Butterflies

The DP's are from a scrapbook kit that I have had laying around the house for years, and finally decided to use because I can't see it being used in a layout any time soon that's for sure!
I used various dies, gems and stickles for bling!
I found this little poem on line and thought it fitting for my theme.

Well that's it for me today peeps. So get those creative mojo's going and head on over to TTCRD blog to see what my fellow D/Teamie's have to inspire you further.
I will be entering my card over at One Stitch At A Time Challenge - Use a Digi

For my inspiration this week I thought I would step out of my comfort zone and try black hair, and because I am a sucker for punishment I thought I would also go for “BIG” black hair while I was at it !!!

This is Circus Trixie, by none other than Saturated Canary.
I will be honest and say that I definitely need more practice, what in the world was I thinking???

didn't want to make her into a circus act for a couple of reasons, one of which was the fact that I didn't have any DP with that theme. These particular papers are from Recollection's "All Girl" collection.

Embellies: MS punch for my flowers, black Viva Decor Pen Dies: SB and Memory Box
Sketch: Milo Lilja - Art & Design

The sentiment is from my fav Word Art blog, Ginger's House, and I thought it perfect for this card.

I printed her out on Neenah card stock and coloured her with my Copic Markers.

Hair: C05, 07, 09

Outfit: RV11, 14, 17 YG21, 23, 25 BG72, 75

Out with the old and in with the new...

Happy New Year Crafty Peeps!

As we ring in 2013, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best year that you've ever had, and that each New Year will be better than the last.

May you realize your fondest dreams and take time to recognize and enjoy each and every blessing that comes your way.

Plus make sure you get a lot of therapeutic crafty time in!

Albeit, I am one day late with this particular post, but with it brings to you a new challenge from Through the Craftroom Door Magazine.

This week’s challenge is sponsored by the magazine as well, and as usual it's “Anything Goes”.

Just in case you are new to my blog and aren't familiar with TTCRD, it is an online magazine with lots of fun projects, various articles on products and featured guests, but most of all it has inspiration galore!

My Image is by Crafter’s Companion and affectionately known as Popcorn the Bear.

If you already have a subscription to the magazine then this little fella and his sidekick SoufflĂ© may look familiar to you.

I made a Copic colouring “adding texture” tutorial for the November/December addition.  I decided to use the image to make a card for this challenge...total pink overload wouldn't you say?

The DP’s are from SU and then I used some basic card stock from my stash for the matte and squares. I didn't use any sketch in particular.

I punched out a couple of hearts, added glossy accents to them for dimension. A little bling here and there and finished off with some glossy accents on SoufflĂ©’s beak and feet as well as Popcorn's nose and eyes.
Oh there is some layering going on as well.
I don’t know where my mind was, but I just noticed that I didn't ground the image as I usually do, so let’s just pretend that I did :D

I sure hope you will stop over and check out the challenge. My fellow DT members have come up with some awesome inspiration for you.

I am entering this into the following challenges.

Get those crafty mojo's in gear!
